Sr. FP&A Analyst

Asplundh is looking for an Sr. FP&A Analyst to join our Corporate FP&A team. This role will help scale our FP&A disciplines and help drive our corporate modernization efforts. This role will specifically work with the Vegetation segment, providing them with the reports and analysis that should help them drive their revenue and profitability. You will interact with our leadership both here at our headquarters and those embedded within our various lines of business. This will be a great opportunity for you to work within a large multi-billion-dollar company while also getting broad exposure to various types of work and projects. Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

We are looking for an entrepreneurial person with a background in Finance or another related field. This role will work directly with the Corporate FP&A Manager. We are looking for candidates who will work hard, can manage multiple work streams, be self-motivated, and want to learn.

Your First Year:

• Learn the business, its stakeholders, our culture, and sources of information
• Help coordinate and compile our annual and quarterly forecasts
• Partner with our Field Leadership to help to train and improve our forecasting processes
• Assist in implementing a scalable and collaborative forecasting tool
• Refresh our total addressable market and wallet share analyses to support our corporate revenue growth objectives.
• Collaborate with teams across the organization as we work to modernization our systems and business processes.
• Aid with our external reporting (Private equity partners, lenders, etc.) and board preparations including reports, narratives, and analyses

Characteristics of Ideal Candidates:

• Strong Microsoft Office skills, Advanced Excel experience preferred
• Experience with Power-BI and Oracle Analytics preferred
• Proficient with creating and maintaining financial models
• Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and frame the story
• Track record of taking initiative and delivering results
• Talent for translating complex financial concepts for non-financial colleagues
• Confidence to interact with the company’s Executives and Leaders
• Commitment to growing and developing professionally
• Must have financial modeling experience
• Four-year college degree
• Ideal candidate has 4-7 years of experience working in FP&A and/or Finance
